The grilled sandwich…oh the wonderful simplicity of of it all in its crunchy, melty, gooey wonderfulness. Can you tell I like grilled sandwiches? They can be as simple as a classic grilled cheese or as complex as you can imagine — whatever your taste buds are craving at the moment. My personal favorite is to butter the outsides of some artisan bread of your choice and fill with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. Close it up and pop onto a panini press, grill pan or like I do — my George Foreman grill! At around $50 a pop for a panini press, good old George handles the job perfectly every time, and can even handle 2 sandwiches at a time.
